18/01/2026 - THE HANDHELD REMAKES WEBSITE COMES BACK ONLINE !

The original site had a database and mySQL search function which would find and list games by letter for you.
Every game had a lovely screenshot, it was easy to update using myPhp and news was consistent.
Unfortunately, as news died down and the interest in Retro Remakes in general was waning, this site died a slow death until the hosting was no longer available.

But now, its back!

The Parody pages and the old news remain intact, but the archive itself is now elsewhere.
But where is it you may ask?

Well, its now "datted" for RomVault and is (or will be) available from archive.org in due course.
The archive, since the webpages demise, has been overhauled, cleaned up, updated and expanded.
Many files have been renamed, many unneeded source files have been removed etc.

I will endeavour to update this page as and when there are updates to the dat file and archive.
At the very least, once the archive is available online again, i'll post a link here.
